FRP Alumni Thomas Schrage Joins Exclusive Autosport For The 2024 USF2000 Season
BROWNSBURG, IN - Exclusive Autosport is excited to announce the return of 19-year-old Thomas Schrage to their USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire squad for a full-season assault on the championship title. The Bethel, Ohio driver competed at both Mid-Ohio and Portland with the Exclusive Autosport team last season, scoring a top-finish of fourth at the season finale in Oregon.
“I'm pumped to return to Exclusive Autosport for the 2024 USF2000 Championship season,” enthused Schrage. “I’m looking to build upon the promising speed we showcased this past year. Schrage has been racing for almost 15 years, having started karting at the age of five at his local track G&J Kartway in Camden, Ohio. After eight years honing his skills and racecraft in karting, Thomas moved to cars in 2018 to compete in the inaugural Lucas Oil School of Racing ‘Karts to Cars’ shootout, while being the youngest in the class. In 2021, Schrage began competing part-time in the FRP F1600 season, where he scored three wins, three second-place finishes, and a trio of pole positions in nine races as a rookie. This led into a successful return to F1600 Championship in 2022, in which Schrage won nine races en route to the title. This level of performance caught the eye of Jeremy Shaw, who added Schrage to the Team USA Scholarship that fall. Thomas rose to the occasion, finishing a stellar fourth in the 51st annual Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch.
“I am happy to announce Thomas as our second driver in the USF2000 category,” said Exclusive Autosport owner Michael Duncalfe. “Thomas did a great job last year in the two events he ran with us where he showed speed and the ability to run up front. We are confident Thomas will be a contender every weekend for podiums. He has already settled into the team really well and I am confident he will be contender right from the first outing.”
Exclusive Autosport is excited about the 2024 season and will field multiple cars in all three levels of the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire. They will kick off their season on February 25-26 at the USF Pro Championships ‘Spring Training’ at NOLA Motorsports Park.
